I gotta balance it out with even older soul and reggae music thats the problem with being strictly on the 90s. But I'm always listening to shyt I hadn't heard before which is good, 00s got shyt here and there but the 90s was the game in its prime.

rnb has been phased out by the cac agenda....you cant even get airplay with traditional rnb AT ALL! where is the mint conditions, jodeci's dru hill's or envogue's of this generation? :ohhh:

chasin airplay younger black people dont realize how that has stripped us of a huge part of our own culture and we done lost the soul of our music

Young black kids are not even in the church anymore, on top of relationships being mad dysfunctional as the norm.

I don't even check for new music at all. I feel like it will come to me eventually if it's worth a damn. If it disappears in half a year then it wasn't sh:t to begin with. Got like 40 albums dled but still zipped from years ago. Never even bothered to unzip them and listen even once. I just gave up on contemporary Hip Hop.

I am wholly absorbed by my Golden Era sh:t. I will jump out my chair and scream Mama Said Knock You Out at the top of my lungs ANYTIME it comes on. Same with Brooklyn Zoo. The further we get from it the more it feels like a window into a lost world. It's a bittersweet feeling. I can see myself breaking down crying for the loss of my Love as an old man.

I'm stuck in the early 00's. It was just the perfect balance of everything :ohlawd: and the memories :ahh:. The 90's was objectively the greatest period of Hip hop but I came of age back then and experienced too many things to the beat of 2000's music. Objective "music quality" can't overcome that :to:.
