nikkas better learn to start fukking wit they local community college...got my associates degree, no debt and am making $27 an hour...
These people talking about they 80k in debt @9% irp

And then get on at a company and sign up for their tuition reimbursement , a lot of those high profile degrees mean nothing being unemployed and no related job experience...
My job is payin for my master's, and I only owe 6k for undergrad

At least with a housing loan or car loan (provided the car isn't depreciating like crazy), you can sell the house or car and recoup some value.
With a student loan, you can't sell that shyt! It just sits there, accumulating interest.

Why aren't people doing a cost benefit analysis and actually looking into what the degree will provide etc.

Rack up thousand in student debt and then have you job given to foreigner brehs.
Talking real though, this is why we need counselors and career advisors. Ones that don't work for the system. Too many people gambling on hopes and dreams with money they don't have.

Graduated with $24k. Paid off in 7 years. Sacrifices were made to get from under that.
