Wish.com been selling $5 GPS trackers for YEARS (they are supposed to be used to keep up with pets or keys or wallets). This kinda stuff is nothing new

Yeah, "Pair a new Device" showed the same number of bluetooth devices as the scanner and they both named the smart watch.

AirTags function the same as literally any other GPS device one can remotely track - all of which have been on the market since the early-90s.
As noted above, they're far easier to trace back to an individual than other GPS tracking devices, and have internal safety features that make them safer than others.
I'm no defender of large corporations and the lawsuits toward Apple, as well as the forced innovation should make some tremendous improvements to the devices.
And lock up every one of those creep motherfukkers.

Scanning isn't the problem. It's actually finding the device and removing it. I understand the premise if you have an android though.
