:rudy:

People are walking out of classes for that? THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Just like I figured, liberals are being overly dramatic about nothing. Fake outrage at its finest
:stopitslime:
the subliminals are there, you can play coy all you want.
If you you'd like to play ignorant and pretend the subtext isn't there that actual text is also inaccurate and as this is history at a minimum the text should be accurate.

I know that liberals are experts in deciphering top secret "dog whistles" and "subliminals" that most normal people don't hear.

So I have to ask.......what exactly are the subliminals in that passage that I quoted.

lol the irony of you saying we here "dog whistle" like undertones when you literally, either by choice or condition, failed to see the portion of your own quoted text that answers the question you just asked.

"What’s Wrong?

The unfortunate wording of this case study severely understates the tremendous and widespread disadvantages of African-American schools compared to white schools, as well as the limitations placed on educational opportunities for blacks in general during the Jim Crow period."

It's like having a history book that says, "The Germans of WWII had a problem with the Jews so they killed some of them but also fed them while in captivity, ultimately the Jews were freed"

Sure it's technically sound from a grammatical and semantic standpoint but it does a grave disservice to history and education. Can you imagine if that was the line your kids were taught in school concerning concentration camps? It's intellectual deceit, plain and simple.

I don't have a problem with the "state's rights" argument for the Civil War. It was the main issue, it's just slavery was one of the rights they wanted to protect. The border states were exempt from the Emancipation Proclamation, so that right there should be a sign that slavery wasn't the key reason. Let's be real, the American Government isn't fighting wars solely for moral reasons. :usure:
