I think the bolded is even wrong cause women have always had different relationship standards. Men have always wanted to fukk. Its just that in the past men had to jump through hoops (marriage, commitment) in order to get that ass. Now with apps, no shunning for trying to mess with multiple women, being somewhat anonymous online.....men can just get on these apps and just holler at women nonstop with no consequences.

Exactly. These studies come with the assumption that men are desperate to be in relationships. With the numerous access to sex available, a court system that is anti-men, and a society that doesn't seem to value men, men aren't trying to get into relationships unless the women brings added value and utility to it.

Naw breh I ain't saying hollering at kids (that is why I mentioned not on some epstein or R-Kelly shyt). I am saying thats how men think they go wherever women are at (so at a school it would be teachers and parents). Cause there is like 90% adult females at these locations.

I was in an on and off relationship for 1.5 years. I got out of it entirely and recently got back on the apps ...and its the same crop of women. They're still using the same profile pics and everything, using different apps

What's more problematic is how some of these men handle being lonely, and let their jealousy take control. I remember about a year into the pandemic, I saw this brother and his cute girlfriend walking towards their car, after they had left Walmart. At the same time, I saw this dude who had just got out his car, and was walking towards the Walmart. When he got close to the little road way across from the entrance, he turned his back, and started yelling, "Oh my God!" about three times towards that brothers girl. Since the couple was way up the aisle on the other side of the parking lot, I first thought this crazy dude was talking to somebody else. But he was clearly alone, and clearly looking up the parking lot at that couple.

The sister was a little tall, about 5'7", wearing grey sweat shorts, and maybe a tank top. She was dressed just like any normal girl who may have went out for a walk or jog. It wasn't like she was wearing yoga shorts or anything, but this girl had a nice body, along with this nice light brownish-orange tan. She didn't have no real big ass, but it was slender, and just curvy enough to go with her shape. She did kinda stand out a little for some reason. Maybe because it looked like she was in college. But she looked a little older than a college girl. And I'd be lying if I didn't say her pretty complexion didn't standout. Something else about her made her look like she didn't live in the South, however I can't quite put my finger on it. I sense that from people every now and then down here. Maybe the way she carried herself made her standout too. Btw, this was in Hampton, GA, about 36 miles south of Atlanta. I'm afraid a lot of her types don't hang around too long in the ATL metro.

But no way, and I mean no way, was that dudes behavior, hollering at that other mans girl, acceptable, and I don't care how rough it had gotten. Negroes like him will be the first ones acting like Skeletor, if they ever allowed a 24-hour purge. Tbh, I still feel that tension sometimes coming from these individuals. I just hope that girl's boyfriend didn't turn around, and see that that a$$hole was really yelling at his girl like that. Although her boyfriend was no giant, it wasn't like he was some little dude. Now I've seen some brothers eyeball another mans girl on the side, but I've never seen anything like what I saw that day.

The premise is fine, and adequately sourced. The conclusion can't be made from those sources. If there's an increase in people going on dating apps, it doesn't necessarily mean these people want actual relationships. It means that it gets harder to gain access to people IRL. A much more serious issues due to the economy and pandemic.

I also think social media does affect the dynamics and the perception of how relationships are. Relationships are definitely leaning on intersect of freedom and gender roles. People no longer have to stay together to survive, but there is more expectation for people to do roles like a transaction.

What's not being talked about is how "escorting" or playing to play has become a thing. Women are not on dating apps because they have a bigger following on their social media platforms, Why get on a dating app when you have 200-1000, plus followers on your social media. These kinds of articles don't tell the whole story.

But what is about to start happening is this: Men are getting used to being alone "lonely" or chilling as the article puts it, women are still being women, if we were to go with the whole "women are ok with being single" we can, but one thing that will keep things going is "money"

Money will be the thing and Men make more than women, the men that are in the 15-10% or higher will be good. Someone said the 80/20 rule. That is going to be the key.

The way how men minds are working, and the way women are becoming or have become, most dudes do not want to put up with a woman mindset and outlook (masculine traits) for so long, they just want the p*ssy, here and there and be gone. Yea it's been around but it's starting to creep it's head out as being a normal thing. I see women online (IG's) advertising, your bottle girls, regular girls are starting to tip top down the hole to sell p*ssy or escort. Dudes are starting to go to different countries to do their thing. Those trips will be 3-4 times a year, etc.
