Black neighborhoods are money farms for them. Star athlete or singer? He grew up poor with a single mother (through policies they implemented) give him a chain and a wraith and we can make 100s of millions or him.

The Dems will get one last “blind vote” out of me in 2020, and then I’m going to vote strictly on who looks out for me and mine. I will be that single issue voter that folks talk about, because I can honestly say, no one party truly aligns with my platform, beliefs, and/or values. Going to treat political parties as business associates, as I won’t pledge my loyalty to any one party.

The problem is you make it out to be a "republicans are out to get us" thing. Which is true, but so are liberals. If black people started separating from the system saying we want to be on our own, watch those liberals tense up just as republicans would. So let me get this straight, the premise of this thread is to denote that historically "liberal candidates" dumbed down their message for black people.

In a way I'm not surprised, but in another I'm not necessarily offended, because they're essentially doing market research to see what reasonates with certain targeted audiences. With that said, some techniques maybe culturally insensitive.

I definitely take griip with the way some of the messaging is forecast, but then I remember not everyone is heavily involved in politics as me and most cats in HL.

Pretty much. They are just different sides of the same coin.
Conservatives have been . historically overtly antagonistic towards blacks while liberals have been so in a covert way, using the guise of friendship to enact policies that have us destroying ourselves... examples being feminism to destroy the family structure and 'population control' agendas that they are openly pushing in Africa and have been pushing on the homefront via tons of abortion clinics in black communities. None of these political parties are your friends. At most, we can get a few crumbs from our votes. The real initiative should be economic independence where we can actually build and hire each other.
