If you make say $50-$60K you don't really get shyt back. You pay what you own with no real loopholes other than claiming kids who are expensive to have.
Most of the people that are lower class and get it all back have unenviable lives.
Rich people can build wealth without actualization. They can realize a portion of the wealth they build to serve their needs and shelter the rest. They have enough money to give lots away to lower their taxable income.
When you're middle class that stuff doesn't work the same.

When my federal taxes come due I pay. The only thing I get back is some federal overpayment which is less than $500. Unless you have kids or low income as hell you don't get shyt back really.

I grew up watching my momma do taxes and i do taxes. Fam that is not true. It’s loopholes and deductions out there for the lower class also.

Denying the correlation between tax cuts and economic stimulation/short term growth needs to stop though... the narrative should be the rich benefit more... not this no one else benefits nonsense.

Not for me. I'm middle class as fukk. Single, no kids, and a renter. I work hard for my money but I have no way to wiggle out of paying taxes like these rich folks.
People like me can't do itemized deduction because we don't have enough of them to beat the standard deduction.
Meanwhile people like Warren Buffet pay less a percentage of their income in taxes than I do on mine.
I guess middle class people like myself don't deserve what little we make though.
