Video games like anything else is a hobby, but any hobby should be done in moderation.
If you too busy trying to bust nikkas in Madden instead of turning in that job application, you got issues to handle.
Most of the dudes i've known who loved video games did have a job (usually low wage), but they would go home after work and play them all night. I used to do that when i was like maybe 14-15, stay up all night playing GTA with snacks and go to sleep at like 3-4 AM, but i definitely can't imagine me doing it now

i outgrew it. i can't help but think, time is money, and hours spent playing video games i could be making more money. And the guys i'm referring to, didn't do this one day out of the week, it was usually multiple days. Then some would be complaining about bills or being broke etc, Like nikka if you got a 2nd job or did some kind of side hustle, online or wherever etc instead of just spending 8 hours playing video games after you get off work, maybe you'd have more money
Nothing wrong with video games or any other hobby, but i couldn't do it for hours and hours like them. I love money too much

if it's not something that's going to make me more money i don't put too much time into it
I never even really thought about it before but most of my hobbies are stuff that i make money off of i.e. programming and other shyt
