Smack Dvd's with immense fukkery , Myspace it it's peak ,Hip Hop dominating the billboards along with Urban Culture .. and despite what was occurring on the mainstream tip , wild gems came out in the mixtape circuit during this decade ... as a 90s baby I get nostalgic because that was my childhood/early teens , but I can understand if 80s babies feel otherwise

if you go back and look at videos from 2000-2009 it all looks so dated. I even remember seeing a vid from 2010 thinking it was much older

the 2000's dated itself real fast

But stuff from 2007-present looks so gay now though Honestly outside of technology i feel we've gone backwards in society, everything from music to television was better in the early 00s imo.

The 2000s were pretty bad especially before 05. I remember we copped big ass tall white and black tees like every week and wore Air Force 1's with every outfit.

Plus you had to have a matching fitted that came down over your ears

WORD. I like fashion of today cuz it's all over the place. There's no more rules. If u know ur look/truth u can really stand out in a unique way. Now u can have your own individual style cuz fast fashion/globalism/internet has made everything so available.

Back in January 2004 I was at the LA Auto Show, and a dude in one of the show rooms pulled one of these out and was talking on it...the whole room started nudging each other and pointing at the phone in awe because it was the first time we had seen it outside of a magazine. I tried watching the 1996 Florida Gators vs FSU at the sugar bowl I had to stop watching. The clothes and jersey were baggy and loose like damn. Even the 2004 Rose Bowl USC vs Texas game looks outdated as hell. nikkas like Vince young wearing crop tops
