This reminds me of when I was a kid, my dad was an electrician and I used to melt his soldering wire to make earrings. He used to get sooooo mad. However watching him in action and him getting me involved in so many things and allowing me to make mistakes around some things and talking me through fixing them set me up to be a pretty functional adult. Most things are pretty straight forward and you may not require a professional it’s just takes building in the confidence from quite young and the knowledge to know it’s possible.
