Nothing really ever scared me as a kid except ghosts. I knew everything on TV, movies, video games, ect was fake.

Unless we are talking about real life shyt? I was afraid of drowning, getting shot, or getting lost, kidnapped, molested, ect.

As a child born in 81, AIDS scared the fukk OUT ME as a little kid. Being 6 and 7 years old and being uninformed (But so was the general public) I was terrified of AIDS. I had a couple friends who were brothers whose uncle was gay and died of AIDS, I THOUGHT that shyt was Hereditary. One time dude had a nosebleed when we were playing basketball I grabbed my ball and ran home crying and immediately took a shower thinking I was gonna catch it.

I can't really recall most of my life as a kid or whatever so I don't really remember some of the things like other people in the thread do.

However, there are two instances that I recall that I could swear that I saw the Grim Reaper. Like a traditional Grim Reaper, black hood and sickle. In well-lit areas. That had me shook for a bit.

I wondered what seeing it meant but seeing it twice had to be an even worse sign. It was a couple years apart too so I was like

I don't even really believe in shyt like that which is what had me even more scared.

It's called "El hombre negro" and It's about this Man dressed in all black that comes and picks up bad kids any time of the day..

So what parents do is they knock(the knock being the man in black coming to get you) under the table or on some wood without their kids seeing them when they want the kids to listen
