I tried explaining this shyt in the other thread and it ain't really simple, IMO……a lot of nikkas couldn't understand how a kid could find them shyts scary; some even thought that people were trolling by acting like they were scary

Let me see if I can do a better job explaining this time around for those who don't understand……

(LONG READ WARNING, TL;DR is at the end)

As a kid, when you watch a TV show, you get into a certain state of mind, Everyone knows that TV programming consists of 2 main things as a viewer: the actual show which is the main focus of your mind, and the commercials (including promos, indents, etc.) which aren't the main focus and can be easily skipped over when they don't contain shyt that interests you

Now as a kid, you more than likely will be watching cartoons, sitcoms and other light-hearted shyt, and as a result your mind's gonna be in a light-hearted state, which will have you ready to smile and laugh. While in that state of mind, your mind is really only focused on the show and its plot, characters and dialogue

Then those commercials come on…..even kids know commercials are just there to try to sell you some shyt for like 30 seconds between the actual show, so you usually skip/ignore them shyts (unless it's a promo of another show you like or a commercial about a toy/food product you want, etc…..in this case, you're still not back in the main state of mind/focus you had for the show, but you watch them anyway because you're interested in what they're pitching…..all while still waiting to get back to your show)

Them production logos are…..different , especially as kid when you don't even know exactly what they are. They're sudden, they're short, and they don't match up with the show or the commercials……at all. They're not funny/lighthearted like the show is. There's no plot…..no characters…..no humor……no advertising a product……as a kid, you don't know what the point of it is and you're looking at it like

As if that in itself don't make it seem weird enough to scare a child……the music/audio in some of them shyts are usually short, sudden and striking/noticeably weird in some way, which some kids also find scary. Also, the visuals are typically unusual and very different (e.g. flashy, animated text with an empty background), compared to whatever visuals the show used…..such a sudden transition in visuals can also seem creepy

You can't really skip over it because the shyt only lasts like 5 seconds anyway……and you can't ignore it because the random fukking visuals and audio hooks you for the full 5 seconds that it exists……

Example: You just finished laughing your ass off to a Simpsons episode…..after skipping a few commercials, then watching the familiar end credits and listening to the happy, familiar Simpsons theme during the credits……all of a sudden the credits are over, and you see this dark-ass screen with a shadowy bytch going "shhh" to other shadowy people, then a short-ass piece of random somber music plays while the words "Gracie Films" flashes on the screen…..…….then after that, the commercials that you're actually used to seeing start playing again and you're back to the part of watching TV that you're familiar with……but WTF was that "Gracie Films" shyt? What was the point of it? That had nothing to do with the Simpsons episode…..it wasn't funny; why did it look so weird? What was with that music? WHAT'S THE POINT? WHAT Y'ALL WANT FROM ME, GRACIE FILMS?!

Another example……a lil nikka just finished watchin' an Inspector Gadget episode……had a laugh at Gadget's usual silly, light-hearted antics…..just finished jammin' out to the classic Inspector Gadget theme song during the end credits …….then right after the end of the credits, you go from looking at a cartoon to seeing a shot of a REAL boy sleeping in a REAL bedroom at night…..okay, WTF…..this ain't part of the cartoon, this don't look like no damn commercial …..you hear this 'dreamy' music all of a sudden, wtf is this ……WHAT THE fukk, now the shyt is zooming from inside the room to outside the window, to some star that turns into a word……now some random kid off-screen is tryna say "dikk"…..WHAT THE HELL…….then right after that, a familiar commercial comes on……okay but what the fukk did I just watch?!


TL;DR

To sum up, they're scary/creepy because they're like watching the video below, after you finished watching a Drake music video on BET, and right before watching a promo for an upcoming episode of The Parkers:
