- not sure if this is a real dish or some bullshyt my mom concocted, but tamale pie didn't taste bad, i just never liked it but my brothers and their friends loved it so my mom would cook a big ass pan of it at least twice a month
- 7-up cake, again, didn't taste bad, but it was my mom's signature cake so she made it a lot/it was requested a lot, shyt was played out by the time i was 8/9/10
- stew...in short stew is garbage to me, a nice brothy soup will do, but thick ass stews
