I like a more simple, sleeker looking watch.
Doesn't matter the price. Sort of like those MVMT watches.
They're like $100

Exactly. These blog writers are morons. Most of these watch pieces are CUSTOM pieces designed by local jewelers. Just because the design isn't sanctioned by the original watch manufacturers doesn't make the jewels on them fake.

Hell Johnny Dang is one of the most famous jewelry makers in Houston. Has a fancy store in the most exclusive shopping mall in Houston, the Galleria. He's been in the game for over 20 years. If were selling "fake" jewelry to Houston rappers and dope boys (his primary clientele) he would have been murked a long time ago.

Just came in from a night on the town i swear i saw so many knockoff belts, imitation designer shades, and cubic zirconium ice. Too busy pretending to look rich instead of actually getting rich. And the funny thing is the people who have the money like that dont even stunt. Even if they were real they are depreciating liabilities and a waste of money. Real rich people dont wear their money, they invest it.

Bold is a bunch of bullshyt too. Luxury lines wouldn't be in business if only "pretenders" of wealth wore them. Y'all need to just stop it.

I wonder how many posts there are praising what people with real money do with their wealth. People love repeating that myth in threads about conspicuous consumption. Its more a question of personal taste/style. If a person has more of a lowkey style then they are less likely to to be flashy--whether rich or poor.

Unless you're getting diamonds and stuff on it, who can really tell the difference between a $70 quartz Timex watch, and a $400 mechanical Seiko watch?
A super expensive watch, to me is like a Patek Philippe. I don't think they even sell a watch under $20,000.
