Those Gucci's you posted were plain as hell, though. No way they're worth $500.

The only sneakers I think are worth that much are those Raf Simons joints that are like modern art for your feet. :manny:
Its more of a nostalgic piece because those were the first Gucci sneakers. Plus Jay-Z copied the S. Carters from them. I mean I always dig them because it was simple :yeshrug:And I rarely pay full price for certain things :mjpls:lol When it comes to high end, I'm very conservative with my selection. I can't stand anything that's too gaudy or emblem out. I'm not into the belt craze. I get me a regular polo belt and keep it moving. I like to keep it plain. For example, a lot of whatever Gucci items I may have barely have any cliché green/red color way or on them. If your into Gucci like that, you would spot em. But the regular person wouldn't know. But that's how I've always carried myself clothing wise. Conservative, mellow, not too flashy, but will kill you with some classic pieces or accessories. Clothes should never make the man. Man makes them. SB: I'm not too big on raf simons. Sneaker wise, I'm more of a low top stan smith, rod laver, samba, asics, air max, new balance type of fella.

With belts.

I always match brand names with Shoes.

Like I have two pairs of Alan Edmunds Strands so I have matching black and walnut Strand belts. Alan edmund belts are only 120 to 100 a piece, so It's not that big of a deal.

I have two pairs of Church's oxfords. One Black and one Brown. Those were reasonable priced at about 600 dollars a piece. I mean if I am spending 1200 dollars, I might as well get matching Church's belts for another 300 dollars. It's not that expensive, and it's not like I spend a lot money frivolously on random shyt.

Nikkaz buying $100+ belts? Word? I pay about $20-$30 for belts on clearance. Ralph, JCrew, etc. I like basic belts. I find gucci, LV belts to be such a waste of money, it's not even funny. Some of em tacky as hell too. But I won't knock those that do...who can afford it.

I no longer spend big $ on casual or ball sneakers. I'm willing to spend a lot on dress shoes since they can last for years and you really do get what you pay for.

No longer spend money on streetwear. Quality is crap anyways and the styles for most of the brands have a short shelf life.

No big $ on sunglasses either.

No more than $45 on dress shirts/button up shirts

No more than $50 on hoodies.

No more than $25 on shorts.
No ore than $20 on tshirts

Don't spend a lot on underwear.

I will spend a lot on dress pants and denim.
I will spend a lot on coats/jackets

I get my gear on sale and clearance. Buy out of season. I got my girl onto that and she been getting some great deals on sh1t. I refuse to pay regular price. I like expensive brands for rock bottom prices, if you shop smart, you can save a lot of money and spend it on more worthwhile sh1t. Outlets and liquidation sales along with some online liquidators that I'm part of have held me down. I shop smart now.

5. Hats
take off that stupid hat :beli:

I was with you up until this part because the quality of hats (if you know what youre looking at) matters big time. I'm not talking about some $20 bullshyt from H&M or whatever, Im talking about hats you specifically have to go to a hat store and buy, try on and have them adjust for you (if needed). A bullshyt fitted is one thing but a good straw (yes, quality straw hats cost $$) or felt fedora is worth the investment and if you buy from an official spot, they have no problem with repairing your hat if it gets crushed or needs reshaping.

whats good with Levis tho? I'm gonna take time out one day and try on a whole bunch of styles/fits but I dont wanna go to a million stores and run into a bunch of bullshyt.
Go to JC penny's, Macy's or Kohl's and try on a few numbers from there.
I get 505's which are a regular fit and get them tailored to have a fitted look around the leg. It really depends on how you like yours to fit. I don't like em super skinny (like 511's and 514's) but if you do then those are your best bet.

I never knew that people even get jeans tailored but if you want that perfect fit you cant just pull some shyt off the rack. usually when I get jeans the issue is the fit around my upper legs/thighs. Clearly these manufacturers are making clothes for a specific :mjpls: demographic because I'm not a fat dude by any means. But if a tailor can make a nice pair of jeans look official then I'm with it

Even more so. Go to a LEVIS STORE. their inventory and range of styles >>>>>>>>> macys let alone kohls or jcp (:scusthov:)

And 513/514 arent skilly, theyre slim...not nearly as slim as 511 their actual skinny cut
