Gotta be honest though, certain things in rhyme should be taboo. Jay's mom made him apologize to Nas over Superugly, and I didn't agree with him needing to apologize. Certain things though should be taboo IMO and what Roland said about dude who jumped, was out of pocket. He didn't throw that bar out there just to have a slick line, or because this was Hip Hop. No, that was a suck my dikk moment. It was a nut check. If I'm in Joey's shoes, Troy Ave has to get touched. He has to. I don't have a dog in this fight either way, and I want to put hands on him for just being a cornball. Still, keeping it on wax, reminds me of the old 50 line which is classic to me, "You mention me in your rhyme you better watch what you say. You get carried away, you can get carried away." Or like Banks put it, "the wrong punchline can have nikkaz inside of your house." Troy Ave went there, and there has to be repercussions.

Why do you think it was for anything more to have a slick line?after seeing the line now I want to hear the diss:pachaha:....This was the type of diss record Meek should've had goin at Drake, pure ruthlessness:banderas:.....I expected nothing less from a Philly nikka, but got some oll "hope we can still be cool one day" diss record....Im tired of those kindve diss records, hiphop fans should be embracing Troys record, instead yall pretending yall haven't heard much worse....Don't tell me yall have been neutered and brainwashed too, this thecoli.com yall:mjcry:.

The "One less bytch in a rocawear coat" is up in the air still, but we know Kiss shytted on Aaliyah,Aaliyah breh:scust:...Its okay to make light of a hiphop rnb icon, but not Joey Badazz homeboy:comeon:? Styles aint check Jada, dont try to check nobody else,Aaliyah homie:mjcry:

Do some of ya'll really think that people that become suicidal actually want to die? Usually it's one of two things:

1. Chemical imbalances that can't be helped without medication.

2. The person is in so much pain that they just don't want to feel it anymore. It's not usually that dying seems like a good idea, it's just that it seems like a better idea than whatever is going on. And most people that survive suicide attempts say that as soon as they stepped off the ledge, kicked out the chair, etc, that they instantly regretted it and wanted to live.

So yeah. Hating suicide or thinking it's cowardly is fine, because it is a selfish act. But it's also not usually done under rational or normal circumstances. So whatever is takes to help someone out that has suicidal thoughts, or draw attention to it or let someone else know, for sure do what you think you should do.

I've heard this about people that survived bridge jumps

I heard a suicide podcast about one dude that jumped off a bridge and instantly realized he made a mistake and maneuvered his body so that he could minimize damage from the impact when he hit the water

He survived but it's a damn shame it takes jumping off a bridge for some people to realize that life is a blessing

fukk outta here with this fake outrage. I feel bad Ghost daughter pass away like that but..... That nikka could have just said Im not feeling that and kept it moving. This nikka intersecting himself in shyt that don't concern him.

The nerve of this nikka though... nikka said much worst....

:martin:

He wouldn't have "intersected" himself had Troy not insulted everyone who has committed suicide. He went from going at Joey to indirectly targeting Styles' daughter. That's why you don't disrespect the dead. They still have people who are alive willing to get at you.

If someone disrespects a dead loved one of yours are you going to say, "I'm not feeling that" and keep it moving?:jbhmm:

fukk outta here with this fake outrage over suicide. :heh: at Styles being on some moral authority shyt when he's made a career of being the ignorant street cat that glorifies black dysfunction. People are so selfish and fake.
If u actually listen to styles u would know he would spit about the negatives and positives. Also. Styles has no problem with the diss track. His daughter just died last year to suicide and he STILL doesn't have a problem with the diss track. He has a problem with the interview where Troy basically took it outside of rap. I don't understand what u nikkas not gettin about that.

Trust me, saying "Man up" to a person with mental illness is the last thing you want to say. That is why their is a lot of therapist and psychatrist around. These guys need to be guided back to the light through the darkness. So many things happen to people, that you or I would not understand what they are going through. Its not that simple of just saying "Man Up". Man Up is what you would say to a dude with a one time moment or short duration of them being scared to do something, you cant say that to a dude who has been depressed for a long period of time. Your words will hold no weight.
Understood and I'm not even that type of dude believe me

But the other dude eluded to white supremacy (in general) driving black men to the point of suicide and it's like come on man you gotta be more strong minded than that

Suicide is some coward shyt though. :yeshrug:

No need to cape for people who no longer wanted to live.

I feel you and I don't have any respect for people who commit suicide.

But what people like you and I need to realize is that the person who commits suicide doesn't care if we think they are a coward or not.. they're dead.
And their familiar doesn't care about our opinion on their loved one.

I'm just saying we be against it without being a$$holes :yeshrug:

This makes sense to rap fans.

Joey Badass - "my man's sold more records than Troy Ave."
Troy Ave - "Capital Steez committed suicide he burning in hell. (Then proceeds to go on a rant on the radio about it continuously dissing a dead kid and other suicide victims).."

That's the type of shyt that makes sense to u nikkas?

Mental health is not talked about much in the black community. It needs to be talked about more.
Feels like nationwide it's more taboo than some other countries that are doing a better job of addressing it. For some reason it's no big deal in America to take insulin if you have diabetes, but if someone is bipolar and needs to take lithium, they're treated like a piece of shyt. One of dozens of examples.

it's so common sense too. Physical health. Mental health. They're both really important. But for some reason we have a national Association to Advance Fat Acceptance, but if you'd even been to just a simple 28-day rehab in the past 5-10 years you probably couldn't get health care at all before Obamacare.

We all love styles but they dissed their own team member about being molested, tho.
I know with time we learn our lessons, but styles did the same type of diss internally to a group member regardless of the circumstance.
Me personally you not supposed to have nikkaz in ya clique who not thorough rhyming and if you rhyming anything is attackable.
Which is why you supposed to be thorough.
Troy ave would have gone there just as anyone would have gone there as well.
In emcee'n you should expect the person in a battle to go an ill route, it is to be expected and if you have anything attackable in your background it can be addressed and attacked and you are required to counter no matter what the depth of content is.

Well I understand where your coming but mostly all nikkas in the hood or just black people in general have some type of mental illness due to white supremacy wether they want to admit it or not. The thing is how each of us cope with it. Some join gangs, some isolate themselves grom everybody, some do crimes, others do drugs, and even the person who sell drugs might have some type of mental disorder deep down within them. But out of all of that some people just feel like suicide is the way out. I mean it was probably more worse back then for our ancestors. Some of them probably tried to commit suicide and others tried to fight, but I cant blame them for their decision :yeshrug:.
