Not sure what there is to explain. Hard beats and rhymes should be the foundation of your songs in the first place.
Hot beats and rhymes should be the foundation of your songs in the first place.
I just feel like this isn’t the album to claim as dated, as these are some of the best solo beats he’s had in years.
Agree to disagree. They sound like throwaways from 2005.
The Lox or that Wise Guy album I can see. Plus his album with Berner was dope as well.
The album with Berner WAS dope. That's what I'm talking about. Those beats sound 2018. That's how you market yourself. Get with somebody current, cross promote. And guess what? That album actually charted.
Appearances on songs with young cats? Hasn’t he done songs with Don Q, Dave East, Joey Badass and 38 Spesh?
Who who who and who? No but seriously, I know who they are but this is the reason NYC is going to keep becoming a niche of a niche of a niche until they're rapping by a dumpster fire in Brooklyn.
Do you want him on songs with Lil Uzi, Young Thug, Lil Pump, and Kyle, where it clearly wouldn’t mess and would scream “money grab”?
You know this is a business right? Styles doesn't go around doing this for charity.
There's a way to do something and a way not to do something. Styles has done projects with Mase, Puff, X, Ross. I'm pretty confident he could make a song with Young Thug work very well. And there are quite a few dozen other rappers in between.
