Styles has more confidence than talent. I’ll put him in one of my top 5 subcategories alongside Sean P. The lesson or point of admiration should be that he moves like he believes it.
He’s taken his lumps no doubt. But he also sonned 50 live on radio about street shyt when 50 was supposed to be the definition of gangsta. Jim doesn’t have any “gravity defying” moments… maybe hopping the fence.
I appreciate Styles more for what he represents than the music. He admits ( laughingly)getting stomped out by other crews, so he knows how to take L’s. nikka has juice bars in food deserts. Long- time darkskin wife, An “I gave You Power”esque song that’s pretty noice.
Being able to hold his own on tracks with 4-5 different legends doesn’t make him the best. He’s just the best at what he does.
Not a fan of Jim and he’s not even close to being the best at what he does. What Styles said was accurate.
