I’ll say this, he along with social media woke a lot of black people up to a lot of things. When we started seeing our white alleged friends posting certain sentiments, and “jokes”, we knew what time it was. You don’t want to believe a white person who is nice to you, and is your friend is racist. I know people who would have taken me in, and given me the shirt off their back that I now know are racist. But they won’t own up to it, because they don’t hate every single black person. This is why I stopped having close personal relationships with white people, and stopped PAWGing.

The thing about soft racism is that shyt usually involves a select number of black people that sellout and put in positions basically participating in the oppression. So soft racism involves more enemies because the main enemy will use enemies inside the community against the community and trick them into thinking that the enemy in power is for them because they look like them or identify with them. Most of these politicians are two sides of the same coin. Selling dreams for the ranking of votes.

Truth is no president can save a community. The community has to save itself. Voting towards issues that increase more jobs opportunities for blacks and minorities, funding for better public education, vote against unjust laws that slash the quality of life for blacks and minorities, etc.

The local government in each state has the power and leverage to set those laws. But without any actions being made, stagnation remains.

This is what Styles P is talking about. Black folks been casually scoffing at how garbage black history cirriculum is in school. And how the same 5 people get talked about. But we havent been really working to change anything to make it more robust. But now that Republicans wanna be overtly racist and take it away. Now black people are back speaking about it,passionately talking about how important it is. And in the schools protesting to keep it. Now what if the racism was always overt to keep black people uncomfortable and focused. Black people either didn’t vote or voted against trump.
There’s a difference between voting FOR someone and voting AGAINST someone. You act like black people had 6 options and they chose Biden.
It’s a 2 party system. A lot of people of all backgrounds probably didn’t want to vote for either. But it’s always the “lesser of two evils”. People who didn’t want to vote for Biden did so to get trump out of office.
