It's where the world is headed unfortunately. When I was in Japan there were "cities" which were just large residential areas of affordable flats so people could live close to the real cities to commute to work. Like suburbs but Skyscrapers of apartment flats. Looked like the Mega cities in Judge Dredd

I learned this along time ago which is why I use a tooth brush protection cover & keep my tooth brush in the bedroom.

I do this too. I cant use a toothbrush that stays in a bathroom. Ensuite or common bathroom/toilet. Even if the toilet is separate or the bathroom is large enough to have big separate spaces.

i stayed in a guesthouse in Kowloon once....

literally didn't have enough space to open my suitcase on the floor. had to put it on the bed...still wasn't enough space to open it all the way.
