if you don't have religions laws as a basis for moral compass...you can use actual laws as a basis for moral compass. You can use parental guidance as a basis for moral compass. You can use any of life's experiences to shape your moral compass. The things that happen to you that make you feel good/bad can shape your moral compass. Other people's emotions can shape your moral compass. Religion is a great tool to get people to behave righteously. But it can also warp your moral compass towards the motives of the religion. There is more to religion than "love thy neighbor", thats why so many wars and conflicts have been caused by religion. So I disagree with him. He's just more oratorically experienced in debating his point than the guy he's talking to.

bible says all sins are equal...

therefore murder and stealing a candybar are equal....

so should murder be seen as less serious?

or stealing a candybar be seen as more serious?

how do you base laws on this?

Also, how do you make laws for copyright based on the bible?

Theres so many things that don't have an answer in the bible...

everything we do to fill in the gaps = the same logic atheists would use for the things already mentioned in the bible...

There’s the “law of the land” and there is Gods law for Israel. Just ask @Koichos :hubie:

Actually it was a Muslim who told me that :banderas:

If you don't believe in GOD, why don’t “bad” people get punished for all their sins?

And yea all sins are the same in the end for believers. That why nobody can boast to be “sinless” or better than the next man:yeshrug:

“Denominations” are man made :banderas:

According to Jesus, the “church” isn’t something physical, a building or an organization with a name/title :manny:

That’s your understanding :umad:
Denominations have different sets of morality, some think speaking tounges is demonic for example

Yea so that means they disagree with what’s written in the Bible. I wouldn’t call that “morality” or a sin to think that.

They’re just a different type of “Christian” or a lesser type.

Remember Jesus said “not everyone who says lord, lord…etc”

In Islam they call people “Muslims” who doubt Jesus being anything more than a prophet despite what their Quran, the Bible and historical documents say about his life and teachings

You can call that a difference of opinion or interpretation or Hersey but not a moral issue

Now regarding Muhammad the best example of all mankind and seeking to live like him and following HIS laws (while believing in the God of Israel) is definitely a morality issue

Wait so you think praying to God and doing something demonic aren't completely opposing moral actions? That is the difference between tongues speakers and ones who think it's demonic.

If you think praying in a demonic tongue is on the same moral playing field as praying to God, you got to let me know why. And also let me know other demonic things you don't feel isn't a moral issue.

This is a waste of time. Breh is unironically proving why Christianity has over 45k denominations.

Everyone else is doing Christianity wrong. My team is reading the book right. Prepare to die.

Demonic? What are you talking about breh? :what:

Can you even demons exist?

Anyways, there’s plenty written in the New Testament on tongues. Either you believe what’s written in the Bible or you don’t.

What I think is irrelevant.

Where do you even get your idea from regarding of what demons or demonic acts are?

You proved my point. Now go read the Bible
