I pondered the same thing.
The only reason I could think of, that made sense is if you are trying to start streaming, you throw a few bucks/or sub to some streamers so they can give you a cosign or a host when you get up and going. Other than that, I don't get it.

Dude destroyed him, and then since it was his BDay, the dude that just got crushed donated the streamer 700$

Probs not unless the game gets huge. Surest bets to build an audiemce is if ypu are really good at lol, hearthstone, dota, or cs go. Anything else is kind of niche. The good thimg is tho if you get am audiemce in those gsmes theyll watch you play fukkimg anything. But to get an audience you have to be really really good or, a bytch. Dont quit your day job breh. Plus before you eve n make money you need to get sponsored by twitch or some shyt
Halo 5's activity has been dwindling since it came out to be honest. Not sure if it's going to stick in terms of viewers. I noticed how a lot of the Xbox Destiny players went over to Halo, then after about a week or 2 they came back to Destiny just because there's more variety to what you can do in the game with other people
