I've seen homies and myself included take this approach and its unhealthy too. IF you allow ish tog et to you and you allow it to become motivation, it's great short term and proving others wrong. But only if it makes you happy.

I got homies who are becoming successful but still are not happy, mainly because they didn't do it for themselves. ITs like dating a chick for a long time and at the end of the relationship she tells you that you ain't ish. You grind harder. Ppl are attracted to your success. But then you look on IG and see ya old squeeze cheesing and happy with a new dude. That ethers still gonna burn, and after all that you're just gonna say, why am I not happy.

If success is happiness to you then this is the formula though. Do better cuz you wanna be better brehs, not to make someone envy you and your life.

Being better is the goal but showing people they were wrong, Basically making them eat their words is the icing on the cake.

Nah, success aint enough. I need success, a bit of fame, and money so that when I see people from back in the day, I can be all "Yo, lets go out to eat, my treat" , receive a phone call, drop a few bills, and say "Damn, gotta run, yall have a good night." I want that humblebrag swag. That "Hey, wanna go get coffee or something?" from someone I wanted back in HS, then I say "Sorry, my girl wouldn't like that" and show them a picture of someone better looking and 5-10 years younger. I need everybody to feel like hell when they see me in a few years, if for no other reason than to say "Shoulda been down with me from day 1."

you thinkin too deep, why succeed to please others, that will just make you an individual with low self esteem and low image. I don't want my success to be linked with revenge, that just creates impurities in my success which will eventually turn into hate and jealousy. Just get money and do your thing.
