I would see all of those beats as examples very high production value. Is there something specifically about the production that stands out to you ?

probably because people listened and left in disgust. all you did was post 10 tracks and say it's better than illmatic without explaining how. there was nothing to debate.
i can do that too. nas you owe me > sugar free's career. much more entertaining, and musically better.


plus some of those tracks had pretty cheap sounding production. i literally had the face after listening.

LOL I was a 50 fan before a nas stan (mostly because 50 was hot when I was growing up) and when he went at nas my young self refused to listen to nas. Heard a few of his 2000 tracks and wasn't with it. Few years after that my friend showed me illmatic and that was that. Now Nas my Goat.

Word, it's crazy how impressionable we are as children... and adults if we don't find ourselves.. I digress.

Suga Free is an acquired taste, especially for most Nas stans or East Coast fans in general. not to mention that their music is completely different in every way.
