It is a lie for the most part. Snoop already talked about what happened as far as Warren and Daz bringing samples.

Considering that Warren G also worked on the album and there were musicians who've come out to speak against Dre for not paying them it's an exaggeration. I forget the keyboard players name but he had an interview on DUBCNN a long time ago saying Dre had him play on a few songs and he never got paid.

Suge is pissed hes a loser no one cares about and Dr Dre is selling head phones to everyone on the planet.

yeah, cats think producers just in a studio by theemselves with a big brain coming with all this stuff single handedly. its like a director with films. did they have help with cinematographers, scriptwriters, actors, editors,? of course. but they are the most important part. same with producers.

Suge will forever be mad at Dre.

Dude ran up in Dre's crib, snatched all of the masters to dude's work and left him with nothing. He really wanted to kill this guy's career. Dre took that shyt in stride, and built his own ship from basically nothing. For a second time! Rocky start. But ended up getting to a level most cats will never reach. That shyt has to burn Suge something serious.

Snoop, Kurupt, Rage, Warren G and mad other cats all talked about being in the studio with Dre while he worked on Doggystyle. The campaign to discredit this guy is sad. I'm sure he's had more help than we've expected, but he should definitely get credit for the things he's actually done.

I mean you can hear how Dre polished it but does a top 5 producer only do that? Was Dilla or Pete Rock just polishing other people's beats?

Puff won't sit there and make beats. That's not who he is.

But dude molded careers like crazy! Away from BIG, there's no Jodeci and Mary without Puff. Dude pretty much changed R&B forever, and used an EPMD break to do it. He's definitely created a few legends as well. There's enough shine for everyone.

What do you remember about Doggystyle's production?[It] was was pretty much luck. Everybody thought [Dr. Dre] would be doing the records, but Daz pretty much did the whole album. And at the end of the day, once Daz finished it, everybody wanted Andre to get the credit. Next thing I know Daz is having a meeting with Andre and them and came back and said, "It's okay, give me a few bucks and I'll sign anything over that says produced by Andre instead of me."

Just wondering what the Coli thinks since people love to say Dre is top 5 DOA producer and changed music with G-Funk . Is Suge just hating? I know everyone has heard those Chronic and Doggystyle reference tracks.
