a label cant survive on a few platinum singles and a gold album anymore the taking a chuck of tour money is unfair but the labels dont really eat like that any more ...

The labels eat just fukkin fine, they're still fukkin the artists like always. They still sell CDs for $10-15 they still make the vast majority of the money from digital sales. The days of every little band and artist going plat and beyond is gone but so are te days of multi million dollar videos and album budgets. They don't spend as much on marketing and all that so they're still turning huge profits.

besides. we really don't know what % of the pie interscope, aftermath and top dawn is splitting. for all we know kendrick and his lawyers could have worked out something good based on his buzz

You're living in a fantasy. Kendrick had no real buzz prior to interscope. Which is why there's 2 different stories out as far as when his clique got signed. That's the new game. Sign,put out a mixtape that's pushed by the label via the internet and pretend it's an organic buzz generated by the artist.

yup u can see what was gonnabe the start of it in a magazine i wrote for in LA ,some years back i still got alot of the taped recordings .. but daz was messin with some substances which would have made fo a interestin project but nothin ever eventuated after the first few months

got tired of tryin 2 co ordinate things ..plus affiliations from my side and daz's would have caused alot of conflicts wih alot of things he was sayin bout suge n certain people

i feel like i should have followed up more now could have made sum good $$$$$$
