Wrong. According to U.S. law you need BOTH "INTENT" and a "CRIME" to be charged and prosecuted with a crime [unless it's DRUNK DRIVING/IMPAIRED DRIVING].

If it is proven indeed that Suge Knight's life was threatened via a firearm, then his perceptive fear would grant him immunity from prosecution of slaying his friend due to his NEED to escape the immediate threat.

In essence, Suge Knight killed his friend by self-defense, even though he meant to kill the other guy
