First 2 albums was great
The 3rd album had some great songs but a lot of filler tracks and last album not so good
But that whole 1993 and beyond had a lot of plain artist/great artists change their image
It’s like growing up seeing mc lyte in sweats and casual gear on trains and in a porche to turn into hoodies and timbs screaming she looking for a ruff neck
Same to Run DMC change from leathers and adidas to hoodies and timbs

It was the same for me, bro.
I gave it a shot, but it just didn't feel like the old sh*t. Something was missing.
But the first three albums haven't left my rotation, ever! They couldn't lose in the 90's.

I remember reading that during the making of this album, Devante would watch porn videos in the studio for inspiration and have the air conditioner.
Speaking of which, remember the D.J. Don Jermey skit on the The Show, The Afterparty, The Hotel lol

Misa Hilton played a role with helping Jodeci with their style and image too.
What I was getting at was after he started with Suge when Suge started managing them, then you had DeVante wearing red suit jackets and acting gangster as opposed to how his character had been beforehand
The robbery also added to his demeanor and personality changing too.
