@bk

keeping you updated: Seems like the spacing between the body text and the "edit, report, like, reply" row is only noticeable in certain posts.

Also, links are not current working in profiles. Can you activate that option?

The name of the person being quoted needs to be bolded. People are quoting my epic posts and im stilll searching for them shyts when i get directed to the thread. Like WHERE THE fukk is my name. Enlarge and bold the quoted name please.

- i believe on VB the "Report" button used to be on the upper right side of a post (iirc) - in any case, now it's on the lower left, which is too close to the body text (making it almost blend in with one's post). moving it somewhere to the right side, imo, will make things more orderly.

- quotes that are used within the body of a post look exactly like quotes that are used in sigs. it makes reading posts a little less intuitive. sometimes i'll be reading a couple quotes within a message and continue reading the quote in a sig, because it looks the same. imo, there needs to be a clearer and more distinguishable separation between the body of a text and the signature - i should be able to look at a post (without even reading it) and easily notice a separation.

- also, the gradient of the quote box is almost identical to the gradient of the bar that shows up for 'likes', which makes a post seem "cluttered".

btw, i love what you guys are doing. i just thought to share some thoughts that may be beneficial or at least makes things easier for you guys. in no way should these suggestions be perceived as criticism.

:cheers:

Peace

hey bk is there anyway to make the "post" stand out from the rest of the windows, like a few other people have been saying? Here is what I had in mind, I dont know if its possible on the Xenforo platform but its just something I put together in MSPaint using the previous post as an example:

just a couple of things.

the posts kind of blend in with the rest of the page. they don't stand out enough especially when it's the only shyt i really care about. alternating background colors even if it was white/light grey would make a huge difference i think.

it's hard to see when the post was made.. because it's down at the bottom like that and it's preceded by the poster username which is kinda pointless.

there's a lot of shyt that pops up on hover that i think is unnecessary. stuff like the forum descriptions.. the number of pages each thread is.. this is just stuff that can shown normally rather than with the hover effect. i'm just not a fan of the hover stuff. it looks slick but i tend to hate animation when animation isn't needed.

and this is very minor.. but i hate that just clicking the box rather than only the thread title will take me to the thread. it's just a nuisance because i switch between browser windows often and i end up clicking on random links.

also very minor.. rather than text links for dap/reply/quote.. it'd be nice to have small buttons like the post reply, load quotes buttons.

try switching the style. it sounds like your using the only one that hasnt had a lot of those suggestions implemented

is there a way to add a spoiler button? i don't mind typing the code but it would be convenient if it was just a click away.
