You just admitted you don’t understand nor have you experienced depression because you would know depression isn’t something that comes and goes when you hit hard times, it never leaves you. That’s the problem, it NEVER goes away. That’s why people kill themselves. You only felt a way when you were at your lowest and that’s normal. You could give a depressed person everything in the world and mentally it would change their brain patterns. Their brain would still operate like they’re at rock bottom. Every single day, for the rest of their life.

You have successful people like Anthony bourdain and the CEO in Atlanta recently that committed suicide. Jay electronica summed it up perfectly “sometimes I don’t know what to say the pain never stops, the cloud never goes away the rain never drops”

Even at my darkest moments, I never considered suicide. When I was broke and penniless, suffering from a shattered heart, or at a loss for my purpose in this world, not once did the possibility of ending my life cross my thoughts.

I’ll never understand the mindset that drives a person to kill themselves, and I hope I never do.
