if the clips/rex was as bad as they say, i can see that dropping first

that shyt is really disappointing to me. i wanted to see both of them show up and do battle.

as far as rex battling on the same day his nephew died, i can't call it. thats commendable i guess. as far as people on here saying they would understand if he no-showed. i think maybe we would, but mad people would just feel like he was using that as an excuse not to battle clips.

but like someone else said, weren't the rounds already written? are we saying he was in such a bad place mentally that he just spit a couple throw away verses?

nahhhh I doubt it. they wouldn't want to kick it off with a bodybag. Smart move would be Surf/Hitman or Con/Magic

they had to in order to make it up to the fans for Clips/Roc not happening.

so how do ya'll feel about that surf/holla 1st round?

surf's ending really really hampered his otherwise solid round, the crowd knew instantly too.

as for hitman--
the remix wasn't one of his best, but for him to touch back on the charlie clips remix fail with Showout was really clever. Holla should consider ending his 1st rounds with the remix and not the usual bars- it's damn near impossible to swing any momentum post remix

Hitman HAS to have more then one good round vs Tay Roc though or Hitman just might get killed. But this whole"Hitman only good for one round" is nonsense imo. Yes his first rounds are usually his best but he still has great rounds afterwards. 2nd round vs JJDD was great. 2nd round vs Verb was great. His 2nd rnd vs math was actually his strongest. 3rd round vs clips was great. 3rd round vs O-Red was great.
