Both of those malls closed.
The guy that owned Ford City literally said "fukk this shyt" and closed down the mall. He told a banquet full of people that, verbatim, because they asked him why he closed it. Dude really gave no fukks either.
I don't know what happened to Evergreen. I went up there one day to get my hair cut and it was closed down. I was outside like
" I was just in here last week, damn that was quick"

A private company owns it now so it operates. The closing wasn't like Evergreens(that place is boarded up and vacant), but the majority owner/group handed it up to nobody in 2011 when most of the stores left, until another group came in and bought it and redid it in 2012.

I have only been to the ICON once, but that's good to know about the free parking. hell, it makes sense. they are too far south, and too far west to charge an arm and a leg. it's a decent theatre, but my favorite theatre right now is harper theatre in hyde park since shows are like $6 before 7pm and $7 if u have a student id. plus they got free refills on all popcorn and drinks.
