Going to dubai, rwanda, uganda and kenya end of may

keep your phone close to you in barcelona

Dubai is the best. Went there several times, and was amazed at all the extravagance and the opulence. Any hotel you stay at there will be like a 7-star hotel compared to any other hotel you've been at. I have family living there, so I have reasons for visiting Dubai at least once a year. I would wait until October or later to go to Dubai. If you're going between May-September, it's going to be extremely HOT. I'm talking 110+ w/humidity. You won't be able to go outside during the day, because it's so hot. I made the mistake of going to Dubai in July a couple of years back, and my trip was almost ruined because I couldn't go outside from sunrise to sunset. Even going to the beach near the hotel was a no go. The ocean temperatures were around 90 degrees.

I'm aware of the Barcelona rep of pick-pocketers. It's the same rep Kenya has. I hear they call Nairobi Nai-ROB-i.

I can't wait for your photos of Dubai. I'm sure they will be beautiful.
I'm also sure you're going to tell us what everyone else says about Dubai: that it's overrated.

Thanks breh. I'm literally just going to dubai for two days, always wanted to go and dubai to kampala is only 250 one way so I said why not

LOL I was just joking around.

If I had the opportunity to visit Dubai, I probably would.
It's just that based on what many other people have told me, I don't think Dubai would be high on my list.

Sure I'll go. But there are a lot of places I want to see first.

So, do any of y'all have any summer vacation plans or trips? I'm going to Lisbon Portugal, Nice France (Monaco too) and Barcelona in July for 2 weeks. I'm going right after the 4th. Are any of you travelling outside the U.S. for the summer?

I suggest to go to the Dubai Marina while you're there. Lots of restaurants and cafes along the water. Go to Jumeriah Beach, which is not far from the marina. That area also has lots of restaurants to choose from. I stayed at Jumeriah Beach when I went to Dubai this past December. You'll only be a quick drive from Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. If you want, you can eat dinner at the restaurant at the Burj.

Good looking out. I'm staying in Cascais, which is the beach town about 25 min from Lisbon. I'm going to spend a day in the city looking at the museums.

Lisbon got the best restaurants to me cheap as hell. Sintra is also dope to visit, and there is a mall that closes at 12am right across from where Benfica plays called colombo. Mall was gigantic

Centro Comercial Colombo is the largest shopping center in Portugal and one of the 10 largest in Europe. It is located in the northern part of Lisbon, on Benfica district, close to the Estádio da Luz, the legendary Benfica Lisbon stadium. Occupying a total area of 120,000 m² and inaugurated in September 1997, it has 430 shops, a leisure center, a sports complex, 10 cinemas and 65 restaurants.
