Question for y'all, would it be better for me to drop Barcelona, and go to Italy instead? I'm interested in hitting up Naples and Rome, but I don't have enough time to do both Italy and Barcelona. Which one would ya'll do instead?

Been thinking about driving to Branson :patrice:

Would just hate to drive that far and it be the complete opposite of what everyone says. I have that feeling.

nikka I spent half of last year out of town/the country. I made it a point to chill this year. That shyt be draining. I have to move around the country some. But I’m not taking no official vacation this year. I may go to Costa Rica sometime this year. I didn’t plan on it though. I mentioned Costa Rica to my mom and she said we should go and you can pay for everything :why:

Why not just do both? Just a 2 hour plane ride . I always say you're already there not like you have to spend days and days in both.

In Rome all the stuff you want to see are close by, you can literally see the vatican , sistine chapel and take a bus 15 min to the colossus.

Barcelona is a very big city and everything is spread out.

I enjoyed barcelona more than Rome especially seeing all those crazy Gaudi designs , as well in barcelona you can experience that beach vibe and metropolitan vibe

Yeah, Barcelona has the beach, which puts it over the top for me when trying to decide between Rome and Barcelona. It is a short plane ride, which is convenient. Rome could be doable in 1-2 days. I also wanted to visit the beaches in Italy like Naples. I might have to save that for summer '24. I plan on going on a 3-4 week vacation in 2024, so I'm hoping to go to other countries in Europe like Switzerland, Belgium and Greece. I'll definitely fit Italy in there too.

Lisbon got the best restaurants to me cheap as hell. Sintra is also dope to visit, and there is a mall that closes at 12am right across from where Benfica plays called colombo. Mall was gigantic

Centro Comercial Colombo is the largest shopping center in Portugal and one of the 10 largest in Europe. It is located in the northern part of Lisbon, on Benfica district, close to the Estádio da Luz, the legendary Benfica Lisbon stadium. Occupying a total area of 120,000 m² and inaugurated in September 1997, it has 430 shops, a leisure center, a sports complex, 10 cinemas and 65 restaurants.
I know Colombo quite well, my Portuguese ex used to take me to eat there all the time. Very big food court with lots of variety.

Have you visited Asia yet? Have you been to Greece? What's been you fav European destination? I will forever forever love Greece

I'm surprised about pickpocketing in Barcelona, never thought petty crimes would exist in Barcelona
