Summertime is no doubt a summer classic, and makes me think about BBQ's, but I'm more connected to How's it Going Down. I lost my virginity to my h.s. gf who resembled the one in the DMX video in 1998. Till this day I can't even drive thru Harlem without saying "...little hoodrat bytch, from 25th named Tameeka" in my head. The video depicted X's song perfectly.

Thank you for explaining the songs…they are still major summer songs. And at this point, both songs gonna hit with everyone 30-60 years old, hip hop is old now. Not sure teens care about either song at this point
