Just got home from the game.

Its disturbing how quickly this team has gone from a fun, exciting young squad that was the season's best surprise, to a team that makes me feel physically sick every time I watch them.

Another game, another team's scrubs ball out. Shawn Marion's WOAT jumper suddenly cant miss and its a career best game for some midget named Shane Larkin. :smh:

The offense has obviously suffered w/o Bledsoe but the defense has taken an even bigger hit. We cant stop anyone.

The last 10 games have all been close and nearly all of them losses. Im thinking thats gonna continue from here on out and this is gonna end up being a very painful season to watch.

They need to get in he top 7-8 picks.

Don't they have the Pacers pick this year, to?

I know they get the Wizards pick

How many games have they lost by 3 or less points this year? It seems like all of their losses have been by 1 or 2 points.

Yeah Hubie talked about it tonight, only 3 of their 17 losses have been by more than 10 and they're 2-7 in games decided by 3 or less. He talked about how they have 10 new guys and fact theyre competing that close makes the close losses not seem so bad :ld:

I went through and predicted the wins/losses for us and the Mavs up until the allstar break and concluded we'd still be in 8th...but I figured Mavs would beat Toronto and wouldnt have guessed in a million years we'd beat Indy :wow:

If they keep the 7th/8th seed and Bledsoe comes back 100%, I'd love to see a series against the Spurs/Thunder. It would be a lot more competitive than people think.

I'd rather have Archie Goodwin get Ish Smith's minutes instead of bringing him down to the D-league. There's a lot of room for improvement but he needs to get real NBA experience like Len is getting.

No trades fine with Suns GM

The NBA trade deadline is three weeks from today on Feb. 20 and the Phoenix Suns are okay with not doing a deal.

"If we don't do anything, that would be fine as well. We don't feel any immediate pressure to do something," general manager Ryan McDonough told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

The Suns are the runaway surprise team this season as almost all NBA experts predicted they would have one of the worst records in 2013-14. The Suns, with 15 players under contract after signing Leandro Barbosa to rest-of season deal, are only interested in acquiring young players and draft picks.

The only player they may try to trade is Emeka Okafor as he might not play this season and insurance is currently picking up 80 percent of his remaining $14.48 million salary.

The Suns have a lot of assets going into next season with two, possibly three, first round picks, a second round pick and plenty of room below the salary cap.

Is Len turning the corner?

The career game on Tuesday by No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett (15 points, 8 rebounds in 31 minutes) received a lot of attention this week, as well it should, but it also drowned out the big night and possible emergence of fellow 2013 draftee, Alex Len.

Len also registered a career-best performance, going for 7 points, 10 rebounds and 1 block against Milwaukee on Wednesday, and it marked the second game in a row that the No. 5 overall pick last June played at least 14 minutes.

An encouraging sign? You bet it is, especially after overcoming the ankle injury that slowed Len for the first couple months of the season.

While it remains unlikely that Len will supplant Comeback Player of the Year candidate Miles Plumlee in the Suns' starting lineup this season, barring a complete second-half collapse by Phoenix, Len has a chance to carve out a role and increase his value to this team heading into 2014-15.

A quality defender with more natural offensive ability than that of Plumlee, Len projects to move into the Suns' starting unit as early as next season if he continues to show signs of improvement. That could also benefit Plumlee, whose hustle and energy would be a nice asset off the bench for Jeff Hornacek's young, athletic squad.

Some more:
• Like Toronto and Philly, Phoenix entered the season planning to finish in the lottery. But first-year coach Jeff Hornacek has been so good that some rival execs believe the Suns are considering changing their plan. The thinking is that the Suns may consider packaging some of their draft picks for a star-quality player who could help them win now.

• Speaking of the Suns, I was told the Los Angeles Lakers might go hard after Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe, who is out the rest of the season with a knee injury. Bledsoe will be a restricted free agent next summer, but I'm told the Lakers might be willing to overpay him to pry him away from Phoenix.

There's not enough roster spots and playing time for 3 1st round rookies this year(Wizards, Suns, and Pacers 2014 picks) and 2 1st round rookies next year(Lakers and Suns 2015 picks). There's also the Wolves 1st round pick but it looks like they are not playing well enough for the Suns to get it this year. Some of these picks have to go somewhere. I'd be surprised if there was no trade.

Yeah they'll def make a move or two, if nothing else out of necessity. I hope they dont trade any of these guys and fukk up the chemistry though :lupe:

4-0 on the Eastern trip :woww:

two wins over Indy in the last week :wow:

10 games over .500 :wowww:

Safe to say they've adjusted to playing w/o Bledsoe.

Goran getting snubbed is a travesty. :smh:

I don't wanna name names but...fukk it, Dragic should have gotten that All Star spot over Lillard. Lillard's 20 and 5 shooting 40% isn't better than Dragic's 19 and 6 shooting 50%. Dragic has been willing this team to win even with Bledsoe out. Suns having no representative in the All Star game after all of this success is a disgrace.
