Always wondered why the Essential Threads never have the "go to last unread" option and bolded when there are new posts, like standard threads do?

That's a question for @cook and @Brooklynzson

I am guessing it's just not an option while stuck on the bottom. Once there is a new thread it IS bolded back up top and shown as a regular thread before it goes back to page 2, 3 etc etc.

My arcadium brehs, I am in the process of starting a thread in where people can share their opinion on why they have their console of choice in an effort to minimize bickering back and forth and help those make an informed decision on where to go forward. It will be a heavily moderated thread in where the post will be moderated and then freely editable by you as you wish. I believe many threads pop up in this section because we have gone away from what made this place much better when the coli started, such as the iPhone thread, Android thread, and other official threads in where people got good information from. This will be an "essential thread in where everyone can voice their opinion without going back and forth with BS.

What do you guys want to see in the arcadium other than that? No BS responses, ideas that will help the arcadium be a better place and make it a place in where we can all meet and play online easier. This section is viewed negatively by most of the forum and it's time we do something about it.

When I would make a thread like this, somebody would talk shyt about me, my kids, a mattress/etc.
I made long passionate dissertations breaking down how all this was going down. And it was either laughed at in Event Staff, or put into Courtdog's kennel. There isn't enough xbots, and I make 2 threads a month probably. So by DEFAULT your problem lies where the majority resides

And while Dboy has taken the fall (deservingly sohh) he is more of a product than a leader. Those same hooligans quickly go "Nah, its courtdog" and the mods go "Yeah, that sounds about right" and the bullshyt til this very day continues

im probably gettin a ps4 soon i mainly got the 1 cause all my friends stayed on xb. i owned the 3 and 360 because of console exclusives i dont prefer 1 over the other i just game. sidenote how the fukk xbox live down on the 1 but my kids in there having a ball online with the 360? meanwhile im stuck with a brick cause all games require online

Informational threads are the ones that get people to sign up.

@PS4 your 1smart dumbass. i answered a question the Op asked about choosing the console u chose. i then asked a question. when xbox live was down i got errors to the effect of "u must be connected to the net to play" on 2k and gta the same error i get if a storm knocks the internet out. i found out on another site i can play offline but i have set my console to home since i share my games question answered. why couldnt you just give me that answer since your a xbox rep huh? 2nd mrs xbox why could the 360 connect and play games in the same home the xb1 could not while live was down? still dont have that answer. 3rd every 1s right your the problem you could just answer my questions instead of qouting me with bullshyt thats why the forum is fukked up and why op made the thread in the girst place

1.) My nephew plays GTA5 all damn day supposedly. He's staying for the week, and been on GTA5 online doing heist for the last 6hrs. Is still on it now. My xbox has me on instalog so my gamertag should be saying GTA5 right now as well. Which contradicts what you said so I didn't feel the need to help a lie But I am also aware outages are not worldwide (on xbox at least) so while you "could" of had an issue. THe bolded comment shows me the error will always be a human one since you didn't know that

EDIT: (I'm in the dashboard previw program so maybe thats why I can be online? I did read something just now.. you can try hard resetting your Xbox and people have had there online work after that)

2.) You didn't say anything about sharing games, you just said you can't play offline... thats it. So I corrected you.


3.) You answered your own question, why could you play games on XB360 but not XB1 when XBL was down. Keywords "When xbox live was down" Sometimes they do maintenance and services go down. BUT.. the only reason you couldn't play your games was out of your own ignorance to how things work. I been on XBL all day today so Now, if there is ever a problem? Go here first... I know about the outage, even posted a link for YOU to use to see that when it happens. I was saying my Nephew was and still isplaying GTA5 online. something you said can't be done right now... do you follow?

As for the error you was getting because you didn't set your console as your HOME console. The problem is you never said anything about all that. the ONLY THING YOU SAID was that XBL is down and you can't play games offline. Which is a lie (you didn't purposely lie is what you are saying.. ok, but its still a lie nonetheless)
