The author of this quote is Jiddu Krishnamurti: he died of old age at 90. Meaning he had plenty of time to end his own life if he thought that the solution to not being well adjusted was suicide. But he didn't, because that's not what he thought at all.

By searching on the internet, one can easily find that his teachings involved ''psychological revolution, the nature of mind, meditation, inquiry, human relationships, and bringing about radical change in society.''

This quote is used to inspire activists to fight against a corrupt society.

NOT to advocate escape from it through suicide. That's not what he meant at all.

The point he's getting at is how much have you delved in to their mindstate and their ethnicity. Do you really understand the customs and culture of the people you've mentioned.
