It's not interest in Dudley per se, but interest in a solid 3. Melo is money at the 4 and coach aint changing that. So far this year Knicks have tried Ronnie brewer, James white and Chris Copeland at the 3, all with limited success. Shumpert is at the 3 now and it's not his sweet spot. He works best with opposing guards, but with Kidd starting it throws that lineup off. Suns have been feeding the media this trade shyt tho so I ain't biting

Dumb trade for both teams. Shumpert is a nice complimentary piece that you add on to a very good team to put them over the top. He'll be wasted on the Suns, who should try to be as bad as possible for a few years...only way to get good again.

Yea this makes no sense for the Knicks, Shump is a little small to be a good 3 but he has the upside (as long as he stays healthy) to be a very good 2.
