If theres a 1st rounder involved im intrigued if not then there must be something wrong with Shumpert that only the Knicks staff knows about.:pacspit:Dudley

Dudley and a first? Damn they should be jumping on this. They have Kidd, Felton, JR, Brewer... Shump is a great defender but its an expendable position.

I'd do the deal in a heartbeat, the fact the Knicks have Smith and Brewer makes Shumpert a bit expendable in my opinion. If the Knicks are truly committed to playing Melo at the 4, then Dudley makes sense because he's a knockdown shooter and is a 3 that doesn't need the ball to score. I think Dudley and a pick is a good comeup, especially since the Knicks don't have any draft picks for the next 35 years.

I'd do it, Shumpert could be replaced this summer, Tony Allen is a unrestricted FA and Memphis clearly has their mind on money issues.

I don't think this would be a good move for the Knicks...

They lose a stopper on the perimeter for a guy that provides what they already have too much of..

Do watch games? Felton & Kidd have been getting cooked all season. Woody just needs to tinker with the lineup & this trade nonsense wouldn't even be happening.

Knicks would be VERY dumb to do this. You're covered on the O, you can always improve on D and that doesn't mean givig your 2nd best defender who's only in his 2nd year

Just curious, is anyone a Phoenix fan lol? The way I look at it, Suns, Wizards, Magic, Bobcats and Kings are the bottom 5 of the league. I would move Dudley by the deadline and try to get someone else but hold onto that pick for this year although it's not a great draft they'll have a possibility of top 3-5. They can get a Nerlens or Shabazz for the inside game or that SG from Kansas who at the moment is projected #1 (anyone know how good he is). Hell I would trade Dudley for a first rounder and 2nd rounder.

Now they'll still be a top 5 garbage team BUT come 2014 guess who they can grab? Wiggins

Dragic
Wiggins
Gortat
2013 pick
Beasley

They can do some work then

Though Iman will never be great he's a good defender who can guard three positions. And i believe that he'll be a consistent double figure scorer one day. The Knicks shouldn't trade him unless it's in a package for another star one day.
