I don't think Igor is the right coach for this team. The team is obviously not responding to him.

The Suns need a players coach right now. Someone with credentials and is a motivator.

Can you really fire a first year coach like less than 25 games in?

They should trade for Zach Randolph

McDonough really fukked us over and probably should have been fired a long time ago. He only kept his job for so long because "he looked the part".

Sarver could have been meddling behind the scenes but most of his decisions were very questionable.

Sarver is the problem with the team. I'm sure there are coaches out there that like the talent the team has and probably could have the Suns back in the playoffs.

They just don't want to deal with Sarver.:francis:

And what's up with Ayton? He's looking like nothing but a "stat guy".He'll look completely nonexistent/lazy/scared/puzzy

but then you look at the stat sheet and he has 16 points and 10 rebs. One of my boys is an U Of A alumni. He never liked Ayton.

He would always tell me Ayton wasn't as good as his stats implied.Dude has no motor/fire.....Looking like another Al Jefferson

out there.Ol Cowardly Lion azz muthafukka

I'm willing to cut Ayton some slack since he is a rookie and this team culture would have any talented rookie looking like garbage.

He definitely needs to be more aggressive. I'm not sure if its his personality. Tim Duncan was laid back but he would still dominate.

I don't understand why the offense has him near the free throw line or at the 3pt line doing handoffs all the time.

I do see he does get position in the post but the team rarely passes him the ball. Or they try to get him the ball and its a bad pass which leads to a turnover.

Worst owner in the NBA. Even worse than Dolan. :francis:

He might be the worst owner in all of sports.:francis:

As long as this guy owns the Suns the team will be a dumpster fire.:francis::mjcry:

Mark davis is the worst owner in sports, so no y’all don’t come up first in that department neither.

Yeah it has happened before.

This coach is gonna get fired soon. I would be surprised if he makes it out of this month.
Like I said last night, things are bad right now but you have to stick it out, hes a brand new coach and you cant just keep repeating the same process

Watson (fired 3 games in) -> Triano (interim, not retained) -> Igor (fired 2 mo in) -> New interim -> Another new head coach next year

5 coaches in 2 years? :scust:

And if Booker gets hurt and they have another bad start? What, do it all again?

Even a good coach and great players wouldnt be able to build anything with that kind of hectic instability.

It's the same principle as tanking. You bottom out to start over and build up to improvement. But if you just do that every year then the process itself becomes toxic and eventually leads to a culture of failure. Which is the hardest thing to come back from.

I don't think Igor is a bad coach. I just don't think he is the right fit for the team.

I would rather keep him this year and look at other coaching options in the offseason.

The only way he should be let go is if the team is getting worse when Booker and Warren come back.
