Super duper late pass Dishonored should have gotten GOTY 2012

This shyt is amazing. It's like the perfect game.

It has everything, action, adventure, puzzles, focused story, nonlinearity, loot, upgrades, challenge, replayabilty, cool graphics and art style, compelling story

Literally everything on the checklist of what makes a good game, was met by Dishonored

You can run through it shooting up everything in sight, or you can take the more cerebral approach and not kill anything.

This is the only game this gen that truly gives you the freedom to choose how you want to play it.

Even the DLC was better than most

This is how you make a game, I can't wait for number 2

I just hated the fact that you couldn't really kill people if you wanted to get the best ending. I pretty much spent the entire time choking out guards and shooting them with tranq darts. shyt got kind of whack after awhile. I got to the final level and never picked it up again for some reason. I'll finish it one day though.

Why do you say that. You could make it as exiting and action oriented as you want to.

I enjoy creeping around and choking people out, if you don't why didn't you just start killing mufukkas?

The game gave off a super natural assassin vibe from the trailers before it dropped. After I heard you pretty much have to let everyone live to get the "happy" ending, it kinda changed the feel of the game for me.

I love stealth games as much as the next dude, but I don't like being forced into it just to get a certain ending. I'll give it a second play through eventually and merk everyone in sight. I might enjoy it more then.

That's crazy because I'm doing the exact same thing. I'm on the last level and just haven't touched the shyt. In fact I went back started playing Far Cry 3 again...

Loved this game. Probably my GOTY for 2012 too. Just DL'd the new DLC. Excited to check it out.

It was alright to me but not great...something about it didn't flow well to me. Everything was just average but no one aspect that I can say put it above the rest of the pack. Borderlands 2 was the best game last year to me easily.
