Super Elite Quarterback Jalen Hurts has 6 Touchdowns this year, will he throw less than 18 this year?

Completely different circumstances. Herbert literally has a practice squad O-Line and Quentin Johnson is currently his best receiver.

Jalen has at worst a top 2 or 3 WR duo, Saquon and an all pro linemen.
Also the person who made the tweet is an idiot. No one is itching for Hurts to fail. People are arguing against points no one has made. How does "Hurts should be doing more with the talent around him" translate to "ppl want Hurts to fail", idiots.

:mjlol: @ bringing up Purdy
shyt is laughable. Anyone bringing up Purdy as some sort of "yall didnt say shyt about Purdy", must be the type to only pay attention to their team only. Otherwise they would know that Purdy already got killed by everyone.

Exactly. Niners fans already did the whole Purdy is Top 2/3 song and dance 2 years ago, and got cooked by the entire internet for it.

The consensus is he's a Top 15 QB that plays in a great situation as Mac Jones has shown.

Those nikkas BEEN humbled already.

Dak just won a game without 4/5 of his starting offensive line. Miss me with that.
:camby:

21. Dallas Cowboys (No change)

Projected Week 6 starters:

LT Nathan Thomas
LG Tyler Smith
C Brock Hoffman
RG T.J. Bass
RT Terence Steele

Although the Cowboys had just one healthy starting offensive lineman, Terence Steele, against the Jets, the unit played well in pass protection. They gave up only four pressures — and no sacks — on 33 pass plays, leading to a 93.9 PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating (second best).

T.J. Bass, playing at right guard in place of the injured Tyler Booker, stayed clean in pass protection against the Jets and earned an 87.9 PFF pass-blocking grade, which ranked sixth in the NFL in Week 5.

Best player: Terence Steele

Steele places 10th among all offensive tackles this season in PFF run-blocking grade (78.4).

25. Los Angeles Chargers (Down 6)

Projected Week 6 starters:

LT Austin Deculus
LG Zion Johnson
C Bradley Bozeman
RG Mekhi Becton
RT Trey Pipkins III

The Chargers' offensive line, playing without its top two offensive tackles, struggled mightily in pass protection against the Commanders in Week 5. The unit surrendered 13 pressures, including a league-high five sacks, on 40 pass plays. The resulting 77.5 PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating ranked only 26th in the NFL this week.

At the center of those issues was left tackle Austin Deculus, who surrendered five pressures — including three sacks. He gave up pressure on 11.6% of pass plays, which tied for the fourth-worst rate among left tackles this week.

Best player: Zion Johnson

Johnson gave up just one pressure and earned an 83.7 PFF pass-blocking grade in Week 5 (eighth among guards).

The week prior Chargers were 19 after having dropped 14 spots. They're trending in the wrong direction. Both may be bad, but not all bads the same. Depth may not be the same. "Dak did it," ain't the whole story. Also it was against the Jets..

You're a delusional MAGA clown. Nobody even mentioned Dak. I sure as fukk didn't mention Dak. Hurts wasn't being compared to that bum Dak, he was starting to be compared to guys like Mahomes, Allen, Lamar and they all do way more for their teams than Jalen does.

Stop being a dikk suckin MAGA fakkit and open up your ears.
MAGA? Me? :heh: Lamar is hurt and a stat padder who can’t make it past the divisional. Allen is probably the best QB in football but has also choked. And Hurts has beat the hell out of Mahomes 3 straight times outplaying him .

Besides Allen what the fukk have Mahomes and Hamstring done this year?

Imagine saying Lamar has done more for his team than a Super Bowl MVP :laff::laff::laff:

Who’s your team fakkit?

Thinking about it, the Purdy shyt is what really got Cam Newton poppin. It's also what all the talking heads(First Take/FTF/Colin) used for content that year and a half too.

I don't care who it was against. Go look at Dak's career, if ONE starting lineman was missing, it was usually a guaranteed loss.
Credit goes to the coaching staff. They started 3 undrafted free agents, a 6th round pick and a 7th round pick.

So you want MVP consideration/more credit for Dak this season? Or you want more criticism for Herbert and Harbaugh?

I'm not making this just a Dak/Herbert thing.
Herbert gets excuses made for him that Dak would never get. You know damn well they'll never be judged the same because one is the QB of the Cowboys and the other is the media's favorite type of QB.

You do realize QBs play against the opposing teams defense, correct?

I think it has more to do with Cowboys being under additional scrutiny than it does Herbert being a cac. Lawrence doesn't get the credit Herbert does and he's also a cac. Any QB that plays for the Cowboys unless they win are going to be shyt on. That's the gift and the curse of being a Cowboy/cowboy fan.

My brother, we're in 2025 now.

Not 2024.

There are 5 threads every day on Jalen Hurts. Brock Purdy isn't getting anywhere near the same vitriol. Yall dudes just be wanting to argue and hit submit knowing you're full of shyt. You can look at the first page of this forum on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and know Purdy isn't being talked about.

:dwillhuh:.

Hurts is getting threads because of how some people have viewed him over the years and those people kept saying how idiotic people were that did not say Hurts was/is elite.

Purdy isn't getting threads because he's been hurt and not playing.:pachaha:.

Yep. The Chiefs had the 4th ranked passing defense in 2024 and Hurts cooked them.

So how should we measure Hurts against his peers? Can’t use head to head? Cant use stats. Can’t use Super Bowl MVP’s and playoff wins. What would satisfy the coli goof troop?

Anyone that thinks Purdy didn't get a lot of criticism and people questioning him the past few years has been living under a rock. He had/has a LOT of people questioning him and people saying almost any QB could win with the weapons he had/has. It is revisionist history to say otherwise. I was one who had questions about Purdy and wasn't completely sold on him. He absolutely received a lot of criticism and people trying to downplay him. Just because a lot of it was in one thread or the game day threads doesn't mean he didn't get a lot of criticism.

The reason there are multiple threads about Hurts is because the Eagles won the Super Bowl last year, have not looked great on offense this year, and some of their weapons on offense have clearly not been happy. That was not the case with Purdy and the 49er's.
