Stopped by the Redbox and picked this up today....on the first mission right now... 
ok let's get it straight modern high budget high production value games are gonna tell you stories. they could have handled it the Bioshock Infinite way where cut scenes are really just scenes you play through and can move around during but that would damage the vision they had because honestly there's no way to play through some of the components of the set pieces they had. at best they could be QTEs and at worse actual cut scenes.
that being said if you don't like story telling in games why play a game like this? granted Tomb Raider has a mediocre story but tells it elegantly.

I dunno how it looks on consoles but it's
on PC. This is at around 50 FPS too. I'm holding off on a newer graphics card until the consoles drop:
