Super late but this tomb raider might be the best single player this gen

Wow...did not expect this game to be this dope. I'm even impressed by the graphics on Xbox.

The production value in this game is incredible. 2 hours in and this seems to be a masterpiece already.

how are you super late when the damn game just came out?

People keep buying keys from me so it must be good, but I am a cheap when it comes to single player games. I will cop it at $10-$12. It does look good tho.

I only say that because I've been seen talk about how good the game is for the past week. I usually cop these type of games at launch after peeping the review.

But yea though...this shyt is seriously epic. Very well done..the flow of the game is perfect so far.

Right now my favorite 1 player game this gen is mass effect 2 (haven't played 3 yet though) with uncharted 2 at a close second...but this game seems like its on its way to atleast tie mass effect. This is how action adventure games should be done.

I played max...didn't beat it though.

This game definitely seems better to me. The way they blend the cut scenes in right from gameplay if well done. Story And voice acting is nice...the environment graphics

Lara is way less "robotic" looking animation wise.

Game is cold and I'm only about 2-3 hours in.

When I first opened the case I had no idea square enix was involved with the game...I'm going to assume they had a lot to do with how well done the story/cut scenes are in this game.

No single player game that doesn't last me 20 hours in the story is worth 60 IMO...BUT....I trade in single player games when I'm done...so I look at it like I'm paying 30-35 for it since I can trade it in and get 32-35 on average in credit....or sell for 40ish on craigslist.

Haven't touched multi yet but I heard its trash so I'm not expecting anything there.

Its worth the money as far as I can tell if you like to trade in games and get some of that money back.

I still haven't beaten this yet but I like it a lot more than Max Payne 3. I'm near completion though I'm 68% complete I have to 2 more tombs to find and weapon upgrades I want to finish as much as I can before beat the game.
