Tomb Raider was hella good, but you cant tell me that it wasnt laced with Uncharted like action. TR is not Uncharted, but Uncharted was a the blueprint.

If you have played it, in what category would you put Uncharted over this game? It beats it in every category, from graphics, to story, to pacing, to overall presentation. This is the game the makers of Uncharted might have made if they weren't so distracted by getting around the PS3 crappy hardware limitations.

I own it dumbass and it's not better than UC2. It does not have the same epic vibe as UC2. UC2 beats it in almost every category imaginable. And don't give me that linear bullshyt cuz UC2 is meant to be linear and not open world. Just cuz a game is open world doesn't mean its automatically better. Naughty Dog wanted to keep the game and story flowing which is why UC is the way it is. fukk your opinion

what im saying is that some parts in the game had that Uncharted action. i pictured Drake running at certain parts instead of Lara. Tomb Raider games before this one were horribly boring. maybe it was just me, but i really couldnt rock with none of them. Uncharted took it to another lvl.

the game was nice tho. and the character/weapon build system was tight. probably my favorite thing about the game.

you cant compare multiplat titles to PS3 exclusives or vice versa.

"crappy hardware limitations" ...meanwhile i was stuck with a fukkass Final Fantasy game because it was multiplat and had to appease the 360's limitations >.<

I only say that because I've been seen talk about how good the game is for the past week. I usually cop these type of games at launch after peeping the review.

But yea though...this shyt is seriously epic. Very well done..the flow of the game is perfect so far.

Right now my favorite 1 player game this gen is mass effect 2 (haven't played 3 yet though) with uncharted 2 at a close second...but this game seems like its on its way to atleast tie mass effect. This is how action adventure games should be done.

The only knock is the game seems too easy to me. I'm playing on hard and often times enemies will be in some kind of bottleneck so it's too easy to pick them off. And if you hide around any corner too often they will just inch there way to you and it's too easy to just slowly pick them off. Basically they need to flank better IMO. But still very dope. I'm about 60% done.

Also the multiplayer is pretty good, you just have to rank up to get the good guns. I'd recommend playing thru single player first, then you have better knowledge on how to traverse the levels. Cuz this game is more than just run n gun. I've hid from people by halfway climbing those special walls, then dropping behind them and executing them
Techniques I wouldn't have thought of if I didn't play single player.
Trust me, the game is deep. I'd call it a must get, probably game of the year.
I'll finish this, haven't finished a GTA game since Vice City so I don't expect pt5 to hold my interest long enough honestly...

Games were identical. Ps3 had higher res cutscenes, whoopty doo.

graphically i wasnt worried about it because i know it will be the best looking FF i've seen yet. gameplay wise? it doesnt stack up to the previous installments. it felt more action adventure than a RPG. i would play 7,8, and 10 (DEFINITELY 10) again before i play 13 again.

that FFX HD should drop in the PSN store soon and imma gonna be all over that ho

That has yet to be seen in regards to mass effect....that's my favorite single player this gen....and it might not due to length and scope alone....but the gameplay and graphics are better than uncharted to me.

The later "Tomb Raider" games were more or less exactly like "Uncharted". Before "Uncharted". Action set pieces, vehicles, shoot outs, QTEs, everything.

People need to play more than the first two games before they speak on the series. This new "Tomb Raider" is like a prettier more in-depth version of "Tomb Raider: Legend", which came out a year before "Uncharted".
