historically, nintendo has made decent to good profit on its hardware, so it uses its games to get people to buy its hardware. recently, the profit made from selling wiis was a level of profitability unmatched by sony or microsoft in terms of console money. it also draws licensing fees from the 3rd party games published on nintendo systems, so strengthening its own hardware is the most lucrative option, if possible.

maybe, maybe not. it means undermining hardware and 3rd party licensing cash in favor of wide releases for games. that might not produce more profit than what they are doing now, brehIm just saying, they could make a lot of money if they made their games for toher systems

It felt like one of the ds zelda games ported to the wii with the no world map shyt,It was fun to me

So MANY people keep asking the question...why doesn't nintendo make games for other consoles?? Easy. The Company is caking. They don't want to. Don't have to.
These people who ask that question pretty much they want to play Mario but don't want to buy a nintendo console to do so....but will dump many more dollars towards brainless games on next gen consoles. With that being said I DID only pay half price for my Wii U so..

Bottom line, it is hatred of Nintendo that pisses off Sony and M$ stans. They love the franchises, but hate how their favorite franchises from childhood are not on their console that is mature. Kinda like how the nerdy CEO that has millions of dollars still tries to date the popular hot girl that rejected him in high school, when he has much more resources to do better.
