It's the first game I bought with my new switch. Love it. Great fukking game 
why only 7 million switch sales though? Seems like the demand is there, is it just low in production? Is Nintendo purposely creating a drought ?

7.63 million as of September 30th. It's likely that number has reached 8 million by now.
....im saying that number seems low(even if impressive to you. Not saying its bad numbers, but still feel it should be 15+ mil by now), that the demand is there and I feel the sales should be higher so is nintendo purposely slowing production to create demand for the product

It was sold out everywhere from March to maybe a month ago. Whether they did it purposely or not who knows. But this shyt is about to eclipse 13 million in it's first year which is way ahead of schedule
