....im saying that number seems low(even if impressive to you. Not saying its bad numbers, but still feel it should be 15+ mil by now), that the demand is there and I feel the sales should be higher so is nintendo purposely slowing production to create demand for the product
That's not a low number at all. The Switch is among the fastest selling consoles of all time.
Only Wii, PS4 and 3DS have hit that number faster.
PS4 shipped 13.5 mil in it's first 12 months, they're forecasting beyond that.
Realize that this number is from March 3rd (launch date) to Sep. 30 (end of Nintendo's fiscal quarter).
So, those sales don't include Mario's launch and the upcoming holiday, which is when consoles sell the bulk of their sales
nintendo is never gonna do sony/ms numbers in console sales anymore. Only on handhelds. Nintendo home consoles are just for niche/fanboys at this point
Except they are on pace to sell as well as PS4's first year and way beyond MS, which is quickly becoming a non-factor in the console market
