I don't understand how he could've helped because Drake's production wasn't the issue. All the beats on family matters we're fire, taylor made beat was fire, heart part 6 probably had the best beat of all Drake's disses and was completely wasted on those sad ass cope bars.

If somebody told me the battle would end with someone releasing an undeniable smash hit I would have assumed Drake to be the winner. On some Back To Back shyt. Instead Kendrick not only pulled it off...he told Drake he was gonna do it lol.

What I'm talking about...imagine if Jimmy Cooks was the diss instead of Family Matters. Same beat/flow but as a diss record. Or Circo Loco. Straight up diss record over those beats clowning Kendrick. Instead of him trying to drop some menacing shyt nobody can dance or vibe to. His misread the room and got clapped up by a smash.

What beat in this battle is better than that 3rd beat on Family Matters? I wanna know. Closest thing is Euphoria. Not Like Us wasn't even Kendricks best beat. And this is a sentiment that I see in real life even with people who don't fukk wit Drake. That shyt had the best beats. Look at the comment section under the track of the instrumentals.

I would say the first beat change on Euphoria is my favorite beat.. when that beat first dropped I lost my shyt.. The uptempo, horns, funeral bells, bass.. all that shyt is perfect..
